The Story
The ink had barely dried on the constitution when an alliance was forged between master and apprentice in the outskirts of Philadelphia. Ostensibly a fraternal order in the vein of freemasonry, its foundation took root in the bastion of a burgeoning new nation. Since its inception, the cult has grown in numbers, furthered by influential practioners with innate talents in arcane sciences.
The evils of this world are often attributed to the devil — a name invoked to describe the invisible force that corrupts man into committing dark deeds. In truth, there is an innately human component to the pursuit of power. Principles of good & evil are societal constructs separate from the magician and his will. Such is the nature of the Ordo Aeternus Diaboli and its initiates.
In 1994, the town of Lehigh, Pennsylvania is shaken by a series of unsolved crimes. Mysterious disappearances of local children and public officials are the impetus for an FBI investigation into the innerworkings of a mysterious lodge built in the 1800s. The search for answers only leads to more questions as a vast network of conspirators is unearthed.
